Growing Strong!

The most important time of a plants life is the first 6-8 weeks after germination.

If a seed germinates and is stressed by baking sun and irregular watering, it won’t grow as well, as if it was watered…

Luckily for us the long periods of consistent rain over the christmas and new year period, gave our 20,000 sunflower seeds a great start at life!

See the below image, can you spot the sunflowers popping out and their wildflower friends?

It is truly incredible what happens when you throw a bucket of seed around at the right time of year … though, there is a bit more to it than that.

Below is an image of the first sunflower garden (same seeds as above) we planted beside the main entrance only 4 weeks after sowing.

There is nothing like a good before and after….

Check out this growth through time of Garden 2!

How about that! Cool huh.

We cannot wait until they flower!

Thanks for reading :)
